  • How do I get access to the food bank?

    One may access the food bank by coming to the FISH building Tuesday or Wednesday mornings, 8:00-10:00 am.

    Or call our helpline, 540-955-1823, for a no-contact delivery.

  • Who is eligible to receive assistance?

    Any Clarke County resident in need of food may receive assistance.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    We are open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00-10:00 am.

  • Do you take food donations?

    Yes, we accept food donations any time we are open. Please see our social media pages for items we currently need. Also, please DO NOT donate food items that are past their “best by” date.

  • Do you take clothing donations?

    Yes, we accept clothing donations any time we are open. Donations need to be clean and gently used. We DO NOT accept socks or underwear.

  • How do I give a monetary gift?

    Thank you for wanting to partner with us! Please CLICK HERE to go to our financial giving page. **Please note that In making online donations, FISH can only accommodate special designations of funds into our standard general categories of 1) General FISH Operations, 2) Client Financial Needs, or 3) Food Pantry. We are not able to direct funds pledged to specific individuals, only for specific purposes identified in the drop-down boxes. If you have a special donation you would like to make or would like to request a special use of funds not defined, please contact our helpline at (540) 955-1823.**
